We are excited to announce that, this week, the first airline is now using the Iris next generation air traffic communication service, powered by the Cobham Aerospace Communications Aviator S satcom system.
Our Aviator S product is the only Satcom supporting the Aeronautical Telecommunications Network (ATN).
This is a major milestone in the Air Traffic Management (ATM) as Viasat and Cobham Aerospace Communications have partnered to enable airspace optimisation, providing a solution to congestion & delays in the European airspace as well as helping the industry in reducing their Carbon Emissions.
