The airborne APE 4190 is a 2ATI, GPS-synchronized Electronic Clock designed for use on turboprops, business jets and helicopters.

Cobham's APE 4190 clock meets the highest performance demands while providing all expected functionalities.  It is an integral part of an avionics installation, delivering GPS synchronization accuracy and degraded-flight mode security through its ARINC 429 output. This 2ATI electronic clock saves space and weight, and provides excellent readability with its wide viewing angle, high-contrast transflective LCD, and day/night automatic dimmable backlight.

 

In degraded-flight mode, when GPS is not available, the APE 4190 clock is designed to supply accurate time reference for use by the avionics system.  For additional safety, an optional internal battery will ensure accurate time is kept in the event of external power loss.
